Valeria Tapia is a registered yoga teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance.
Born in Russia and currently resides in Silicon Valley.
She received a B. A. in Marketing and Management. After accounting, business and tax career, she is currently involved in UX/UI field, as a visual designer.
Valeria’s yoga journey began with an LA fitness 7 years ago. After a very first class, she had found her passion on the mat. She was drawn to the practice of yoga (beyond a mat) to awaken and seek divine. And she took her practice further by completing 200hs Vinyasa, Power flow of teacher training with Corepower Yoga in 2019.
Valeria believes yoga is a lifestyle and a path to divine and your true inner self. It expands your horizons through a harmonious integration between body, mind, and spirit. Yoga and meditation are her ways to bring self-awareness, loving-kindness, health, and flexibility into a community to her students.
Through her refinement and practice, she believes yoga is for everyone. She teaches yoga with an emphasis on the cross-cultural accessibility of yoga for all body shapes and mindsets. To bring cultures and unite people together. Her classes are a blend of postures linked to breathing, challenge, elegance, and joy.
She is “your light in the darkness”. To guide you through your practice, including postures, pranayamas, guided meditation and knowledge, the wisdom of yoga. Inspire you to live each moment, get grounded, be strong and mindful. Her hope you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished, empowered, peaceful and happy!
She has an interest in raja yoga (path psychical and mental control) and teaching Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hatha, Power Flow, Restorative yoga, and meditation. With a further goal to complete 500hs of TT.
Valeria finds hiking and traveling great ways to connect with nature. She enjoys other sports kickboxing, playing tennis. In warm evenings, you can find her reading book or drawing a new oil painting. She loves to dance Bollywood and bachata.
